Last Friday, I was interviewed by Ivy Reiss on her show, The Artis with Ivy Reiss, on Toronto's ThatChannel TV. It was really the first time that I have spoken in depth about my motivation behind writing Quill of the Dove and about my personal experiences living in the Middle East. It was a bit of a walk down memory lane, especially the part of the interview when I spoke of my two years working in the Gaza Strip when I witnessed firsthand the heydays of the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.
