Heading to Toronto

Looking forward to a fun weekend in Toronto in a couple of weeks when I will be part of three great events.

First, TV host Ivy Reiss will interview me on her talk show The Artis with Ivy Reiss. The interview is at 1:30 pm on September 27. You can catch it at https://thatchannel.com/shows/the-artis-with-ivy-reiss/.

Second, I will read from my novel Quill of the Dove at the Tartan Turban Secret Readings. The readings start at 7 pm on September 27. The TTSR is a vibrant and inclusive reading series that brings out the best in new Canadian talent. The other readers for the evening will be Mariam Pirbhai, Indran Amirthanayagam and Concetta Principe, and Nedra Rodrigo will emcee the event. Admission is free. For details, see the Evenbrite invitation here.

Finally, on September 29, I will speak at the Guernica Prize Bash about the successes that Guernica Editions has had in selling film and foreign rights for its authors. The Bash is at the 918 Bathurst Arts and Culture Centre and starts at 4 pm. The highlights of the program are the launch of An Idea About My Dead Uncle by K.R. Wilson, the winner of the 2018 Guernica Prize, and the announcement of the winner of the 2019 Guernica Prize. It too is a free event. Check out the Facebook invitation here.

I hope to see some of you in Toronto.
