I AM LITERALLY COUNTING DOWN the days until the first run of Quill of the Dove is printed. My publisher Guernica Editions (MiroLand imprint) wrote me last week to say that it had chosen Imprimerie Gauvin in Hull, Quebec for the printing of the books and that they should be ready by October 1. Total Serendipity! Gauvin is only a fifteen-minute drive from my house and arrangements have been made to put aside a number of books for me. I can't wait to see how the cover design and layout come out.
There are still several months until the official release of the novel (April 1, 2019, to be exact), which has to do with publisher's and distributors' catalogues. Nonetheless, I will have a number of books to provide to readers and book reviewers eager to get ahead of the pack.
If you want to be one of the first readers of Quill of the Dove, I can put aside a numbered signed first edition for you. Just send me an e-mail. The suggested retail price is $24.95 plus tax, but I can provide advance copies at a flat $20 including shipping on a one-time basis. If you are a book reviewer or literary festival organizer, you can contact my publicist, Anna Geisler at Guernica Editions for a free review copy. Her e-mail address is email@example.com.
